Winter Academy Camp Program begins for all U10 - U18 players
The Newport News FC Winter Academy Program is one of the most comprehensive and affordable camp programs available. The NNFC Winter Academy curriculum is designed exclusively for current U10 - U18 players and focuses on developing and improving individual ball skill, 1 v 1 play and tactical awareness in small group environments.

The Hampton Roads Indoor Soccer Championships are held each winter during January and February in Newport News. Each year, approximately 100 boy's and girl's travel teams participate in unique one-day tournaments held for each age group and gender. The tournaments are held at Julie Conn Gym - one of the areas premier indoor soccer venues. Every Newport News FC team participates in this indoor tournament program.

The Indoor Soccer (Futsal) League is held every winter from January through March and provides our players and teams the opportunity to learn and develop playing the exciting indoor soccer game called Futsal. Since this is a Newport News based league all U10-U14 travel teams participation. Futsal is a proven soccer development tool made popular in Brazil. This league is fast and fun and every player who participates improves their skill and decision making speed.
