Newport News FC is proud of the accomplishments of our current High School players. NNFC players can
be found playing on almost every High School team in the Peninsula and Bay Rivers District and many of them gain recognition as All-District players. You will
find a list of our High School Players and their accomplishments below.

BOYS SOCCER

Paul Hem scored twice to help Bethel gain a rare victory over Gloucester, 2-1.
Hem's perfectly placed free kick broke a 1-1 tie in the 60th minute.

For Gloucester, Kyle Nichols scored off
Corey Sindle's assist in the second half.

Corey Gillespie scored off
Casey Costa's assist, giving
Menchville a 1-0 triumph over Kecoughtan in a heavyweight Peninsula District matchup.

Goals by Tyree Etienne, Warren Dennis and
Paul Dreybus guided Warwick (2-7-1, 2-1 Peninsula District) to a 3-1 win over Woodside.

Taylor Hinkle scored a goal against Smithfield (Lucas Farrants provided the assist).
Against Poquoson Lucas Farrants provided the assist to draw the first goal to a 3-0 win over Poquoson.
Dillon Christopher and Chris Drivas led the Menchville JV team to a come from behind victory in their game. Dillon netted a Hat Trick to lead the scoring.
(Dillon and Chris play for our U15 Elite team.)
York 2-1 over Smithfield
Jennifer Pandolf scored the winning goal with an assist from
Laura Wiggins on the corner kick. (Jennifer and Laura play for the
NNFC Diamonds.)
Jessie Oder is the leading scorer for Denbigh Baptist and in the top 10 for the state (for independent private schools).
Her varsity team is number #1 in the State of Virginia. They are also number #1 in the Metro Conference. Jessie scored two goals in Denbigh Baptist's 7-0 win at Hampton Christian, enabling the visitors to improve to 10-0.
Jessie is on the U18 NNFC team and also plays for Denbigh Baptist.
Kyle Holden
plays for Denbigh Baptist, co-champions of the Metro conference (with Atlantic Shores). Denbigh lost in the first round of the state playoffs to Seton 1 to 0. Kyle was the voted to the first-team all-conference team as goalie.
